Crain, Native of Winn, Dies at Haile Ralph S. Crain, 49, died at his home in Haile, La., on September 18, 1944, following a heart attack. Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 20, at Liberty, La. The deceased is a native of Gaars Mill, is survived by his wife, two daughters, and a son; his mother, Mrs. A. L. Crain of Sikes; four sisters, Mrs. Sylvester Gaar and Mrs. Troup Dark of Gaars Mill; Mrs. A. M. Taylor, Haynesville, and Mrs. J. D. Ingouf, Shreveport; and six brothers, Charlie Crain of Sikes; Alvin, J. M., and Basham Crain, Shreveport; Lamar Crain, in the Armed Forces, Santa Barbara, Calif.; and Brawton Crain, Armed Forces, Liberal, Kansas.
