A. J. Crawley of Sikes Suddenly Dies Wednesday

A. J. Crawley, who for the past 10 or 12 years has been a substantial citizen
of Sikes, where he had engaged in farming and logging, died at his home there
last Wednesday morning as a result of a stroke of paralysis.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. C. B. Gates, pastor of Sikes Baptist
Church, of which the deceased was a member, Saturday morning.

Surviving members of the family are his wife and four children, two boys and
two girls, all of whom are grown.
