Mrs. J. C. Creel Succumbs; Rites Held Saturday

Mrs. Audrey Mae Creel, 56, of Dodson, died Thursday, January 2, 1969.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the East Winnfield Baptist
Church with Rev. W. A. Wimbs and Rev. Edward Smith officiating.  Burial was in
the Old Union Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Survivors are her husband, Rev. J. C. Creel; three sons, Bobby D. Creel and
Gerald Creel of Winnfield and John Creel of Dodson; two daughters, Mrs. Sammy
Haygood of Liberty, Miss., and Mrs. James Ketchum of Dodson; four brothers,
Herman Gorham, Julius Gorham, John Robert Gorham and Howard Gorham, all of
Winnfield; three sisters, Mrs. Tommy Maxwell of Tioga, Mrs. Ex Edmonds of
Winnfield, and Mrs. Dennis Curry of Baton Rouge; and seven grandchildren.
