Funeral Rites For Mrs. Gerusha Creel Held Sunday

Last rites and testimony of Aunt Gerusha Cockerham Creel were held Sunday,
March 17, 1968.  She entered into eternal rest Sunday, March 15, 1968.  

Born Gerusha Cockerham, she was married to Clill Frank Creel who preceded her
in death.

Of this union were born Aaron Creel of Joyce, La., Dewey Creel of Winnfield,
La., Ruby Creel Rajcan of Pittsburgh, Pa., Silas Creel of Joyce, La., Ivy
Creel of Baton Rouge, La., John Creel, deceased, Cortez Creel of Jacksonville,
Florida, Hezzie Creel of Joyce, La., Julian Creel of Natchitoches, La., Mrs.
Alon Gregory of Joyce, La., Mrs. John Jordan of Dodson, La.

One sister, Mrs. Nancy Jennings of Sabastople, Miss., two half-brothers,
Claude Cockerham of Wyoming, Clill Cockerham of Olla, La., three half-sister,
Mrs. John Gilcrease of Tioga, La., Mrs. Sarah Barton of Winnfield, La., Mrs.
Susie Miller of Winnfield; 24 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren., and
a host of friends and other loved ones who mourn her passing.

Pallbearers were grandsons and nephews.

As long as Aunt Gerusha was able to go to church she was in her right serving
her gracious and always creator.
