Maxine Creel, 5, Dies August 22

Maxine Creel, age 5 years, 10 months, and 16 days, died Friday night, August
22, at 9 o'clock after a short illness.  Services were conducted at the home
of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Creel at Joyce, August 23.  Rev. D. W.
McDaniel and Rev. J. A. Cockerham conducted the services.  Interment was made
in the Old Union Cemetery.

Pallbearers were C. O. Sanders, Bryant Townsend, J. W. Wilkerson, J. H.
Lovell, Sam Massey, and Dave Morse.

The services were attended by a large number of relatives and a host of
friends.

Maxine is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Creel; one sister, Rose
Nell, and two brothers, Adonis and R. H. Creel, Jr., all of Joyce.
