Creel Held Jan. 14 Funeral services for Mrs. Tom Creel, who died Tuesday night at her home in Hudson, were held Wednesday, January 14, 1942, at 1:30 o'clock conducted by the Rev. George Adams with interment in the Old Union Cemetery. Mrs. Creel had been in ill health for a number of years and for the past two years had been confined to her bed. Surviving are her husband, Tom Creel; two sons, Grady Creel of Boyce, J. C. Creel of Hudson; seven daughters, Miss Lottie Creel of Hudson, Mrs. Mottice McCarty of Sikes, Mrs. Mary Evans of Bernice, Mrs. Bessie Townsend of Winnfield, Mrs. Maude Goodson of Rayville, Mrs. Pearl Boles of Ft. Necessity, and Mrs. Ola Thornton of Winnsboro; one sister, Mrs. Cora Dark of Winnsboro, and two brothers, Dewitt Jones of Sikes and Morris Jones of Texas.
