F. Crippen, Sr., Dies After Long Illness

Frank Crippen, Sr., 72, of Winnfield, died Saturday, June 29, 1974 in a local
hospital after a long illness.

Mr. Crippen was a native of Winnsboro, Texas, a member of the First Baptist
Church, and was Maintenance Foreman at Winn Rock, Inc.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday in Southern Funeral Home chapel
with Rev. W. R. Gage officiating.  Burial was in the Winnfield Cemetery.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Frank Crippen, Sr. of Winnfield; one son,
Frank Crippen, Jr., of Natchitoches; one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Canterbury of
Chatham; one sister, Mrs. B. F. Goodwin of Fort Worth, Texas; four
grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Bluch Haddox, David Christman, Ray Daughtry, P. K. Smith, L.
L. Garrett, and C. E. Sherwood.
