Zion Cemetery. Mr. Crippen was the brother of Jim, Virgil, and Frank Crippen and the son of D. C. Crippen of Winnfield. Local relatives attended the funeral. Surviving the deceased besides his father and three brothers in Winnfield are one sister, Mrs. Willie Steele, Gladewater, Texas; three sons, Vernon and James of Deberry and George, Jr., of Shreveport; one daughter, Mrs. F. H. Kottenfrock, Tyler, Texas; and two brothers, Claude of Alto, Texas and Oscar of Deberry, Texas.
