A. L. Crow, Father of Mrs. Disbrow, Buried Thursday

Funeral services were held in Alexandria today, Thursday, for A. L. Crow, 72,
of Pineville, father of Mrs. Harry C. Disbrow.  Mr. Crow died Tuesday in an
Alexandria hospital of a heart attack.

He was serving as deputy sheriff of Rapides Parish at the time of his death
and was a retired State Police lieutenant who had served in this area.  He and
D. C. Allen, now mayor of Winnfield, were the first highway patrolmen assigned
in this district in the early 1930s.
