Robert Carson Found Dead In Cabin on Saline

Robert Carson, 46, furniture store operator in Many and Jonesboro, was found
dead today in his private cabin on Saline Lake.

According to Southern Funeral Home employees, Deputy Coroner Dr. G. M. Rodgers
blamed the death on heart attack.  He was reported by his physician in Many to
have been suffering from a heart ailment.  Carson was last seen about noon
Wednesday.

The body is at Southern Funeral Home in Winnfield, awaiting burial with
arrangements in Many.

Carson's cabin is located east of Collins and Irvin's Camp on Saline.  His
mother, Mrs. Bays, lives in Jonesboro.  His wife and three daughters live in
Many.
