Funeral Services This Friday For Mrs. Vashti Crain

Funeral services for Mrs. Vashti Crain, 78, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday
morning in Sikes Baptist Church, following her death Wednesday.

Mrs. Crain had lived most of her life in Winn Parish.

Survivors are her husband, T. D. Crain of Sikes; five sons, E. E. Crain of
Sikes, S. T. Crain of Chatham, Jesse Crain of Fishville, Johnny Crain of
Alexandria, Hansford Crain of Stratford, Calif.; five daughters, Mrs. Sula
Parker and Mrs. Edna Miller of Sikes, Mrs. Johnny Wood of Alexandria, Mrs.
Odis Carroll and Mrs. Bob Gunn of Bentley; one sister, Mrs. Lucy Taylor of
Bastrop; two brothers, Arthur and Buddy Green, and one half brother, Winford
Green, about 30 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Burial will be in the Sikes Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home
in Winnfield.
