Cudd Dies At Home of His Son Saturday Funeral Services Conducted At Leesville, La. On Monday Wayman C. Cudd, 63, died at the home of his son, E. B. Cudd, here Saturday, July 27, 1935 at 10 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Leesville, La., Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock with Rev. O. L .Tucker, pastor of the First Methodist Church, Winnfield, and Rev. F. J. McCoy, pastor of the Keener Memorial Methodist Church of Baton Rouge officiating. Mr. Cudd was a member of the Methodist Church at Leesville. He was also a Mason and a member of the W. O. W. For twenty-five years he conducted a mercantile business in Leesville. Bad health for the past two years necessitated his retirement from active business life. Early in the year Mr. Cudd and his wife came to Winnfield to make their hom with his son, E. B. Cudd. Mr. Cudd suffered a stroke that resulted in his death Saturday night. The deceased is survived by his widow, four sons and four daughters. They are J. W. Cudd, of Wendell, Idaho; D. W. Cudd of Houston, Texas; W. C. Cudd, Jr., of Shreveport; E. B. Cudd of Winnfield; Mrs. J. T. Little of Bastrop, La.; mrs. A. E. Averre of Shreveport; and Mrs. Beatrice Bice of Leesville. Four brothers and two sisters also survive. With the exception of J. W. Cudd of Wendell, Idaho, all members of the family were here Sunday and attended the funeral in Leesville, that day.
