J. D. Cummings Dies At His Home Near Calvin June 27th

James Dave Cummings, age 61 years, died at his home near Calvin on Sunday
morning, June 27, after a long illness.  Funeral services were held at
Bethlehem Church in the afternoon of the same day with Rev. Rufus Kitchingham
officiating.  Burial was in the cemetery at old Bethlehem Church.

The deceased is survived by his widow; one daughter, Mrs. C. L. Camp of
Winnfield; two sons, Floyd Cummings of Goldonna and J. D. Cummings of Calvin;
two brothers, D. E. Cummings of Bryceland and F. T. Cummings of Texas.
