Mrs. Elton Curry Dies; Rites At Hurrican Grove

Mrs. Joy B. Curry, 46, of Sikes died Thursday, December 3, 1970 in a Ruston
hospital.  She was a member of Hurricane Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Elton Curry of Sikes; three sons, Rev.
Norris Curry of Natchitoches, David Lee Curry and Thomas Curry of Sikes;
three brothers, John L. Thomas of Cheyenne, Wyo., Edgar Thomas and Eugene
Thomas of Chatham; one sister, Mrs. Virgil Sanders of Winnfield and one
grandchild.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Hurricane Grove
Baptist Church in Sikes, with Revs. Ernie Yocum and Jimmy Youcum
officiating.  Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Southern
Funeral Home of Winnfield.
