John Curry Victim of Pneumonia Tuesday

John Curry, aged resident of the Eastern portion of Winn Parish, died from an
attack of pneumonia at the home of his daughter, Mrs. R. W. White, in Rochelle
Monday night.  Mr. Curry had been ill for a long time at Columbia and was
moved to Rochelle Sunday.

Funeral services were conducted at Beech Creek at 11:30 Tuesday morning, with
the Rev. Autrey of Tullos in charge.

The deceased is survived by three sons, J. B. Curry, merchant of Tullos; Sid
Curry, Tullos, and Zack Curry, Oak Grove; four daughters, Mrs. R. W. White,
Rochelle; Mrs. Dosia Newman, Mrs. Oscar Holmes, Urania; and Eva of Texas; one
brother, Jim Curry, of Columbia, also survives.
