L. R. Curry, 38, Leukemia Victim, Dies

Leonard Ray Curry, 38, died Monday, July 18, 1977 in Goldonna in his residence
after a long battle with leukemia.  A native of Terry, he was a pipeline
welder.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Theresa Curry of Goldonna; two sons, James L.
Curry and Joseph A. Curry, both of Goldonna; one daughter, Stacy D. Curry of
Goldonna; his mother, Mrs. Pauline Purvis of Monroe; his stepfather, James W.
Purvis of Monroe; one brother, Shelby Curry of Monroe; and one sister, Mrs.
Shirley Lee of Monroe.

Services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Goldonna Assembly of God with
Rev. A. S. Davis officiating.  Burial was in Goldonna Cemetery under direction
of Southern, Winnfield.
