Sam H. Curry, 72, Formerly of Joyce, Dies At Columbia

Sam H. Curry, 72, former resident of Joyce, died July 26 at the home of his
sister, Mrs. Lily Crowell in Grayson.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the old Bethel Baptist Church
near Clarks with the Rev. Kenneth Wall officiating.  Burial was in the old
Bethel Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home, Winnfield.

A native of Caldwell Parish, Mr. Curry resided in Winn Parish for many
years and moved to Grayson a short while ago.

He is survived by his sister; three brothers, F. H. Curry and A. E. Curry,
both of Monroe; and P. P. Curry of Columbia.
