87 Year Old Local Resident Dies; Buried In Okla.

Marion B. Cox, 87 year old Winnfield resident, died at his home at 408 South
Bevill Street, Sunday morning.  He was a native of Indiana and had made his
home here for the past 20 years, assisting his son in the operation of the
horse barns, adjoining the Winnfield football field.

The remains were sent to Madill, Okla., where last rites were conducted
Tuesday, Nov. 8.

Surviving are one son, Leether Jack Cox, Winnfield; and two daughters, Mrs.
Essie Farris, Madill, Okla., and Mrs. Elmo Townsend, Pryor, Okla.
