Mrs. Lucy Porter Collins, 72, Winn native, died May 24 in a Monroe hospital. She and her husband had returned to Winn Parish several years ago to retire, but because of ill health, went back to West Monroe to make their home. Mrs. Collins was a member of the Assembly of God Church in West Monroe, where last rites were conducted at 2 p.m. May 26, with the Rev. E. L. Tanner and the Rev. F. D. Wall officiating. Burial was in the Riverview Cemetery. Mrs. Collins is survived by her husband, Grady M. Collins of West Monroe, two sons, John P. Collins of Winnfield and Master Sergeant Jack F. Collins of San Antonio, Texas, two sisters, Mrs. A. Godfrey and Mrs. Barbara Reider, both of West Monroe, seven grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren. Attend Last Rites Among those from this parish who attended the last rites for Mrs. Collins were Walter Miller, Hezzie Collins, Harmon Porter, J. W. Collins, Malcolm Collins, Rt. 2, Winnfield; also attending were Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Collins of Ida, La.
