He was a member of Montgomery Church of Christ. He was the son of the late William and Cora Perkins. He is survived by his wife Barbara Perkins of Montgomery, La.; One Daughter, Patricia G. Perkins of Campti, La. Four Sons, Carrol A. Perkins of Montgomery, La. Charles J. Perkins of Montgomery, La. Aubrey G. Perkins of Montgomery, La. Ronald D. She was a member of the Lincecum Baptist Church of Georgetown, La. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Melton Jones and the late Cornelia Mae (Chaudoin) Jones. Mrs Nugent was also preceded in death by her husband, Fred H. Nugent; and two sons, Fred Melton Nugent and Prentice Gleason Nugent. She is survived by her One Daughter, Cornelia Bradford and husband Jim of Georgetown, La. Two Sons, Charles Nugent and wife Elaine of Pollock, La. Jim Nugent and wife Kim of Salem, Ore. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, December 1, 2005 at Montgomery United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Sammy Bozeman and Rev. Darren Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Mr. Stroud was a member of the Montgomery United Pentecostal Church and served as a member of the official board of the church. He was was employed by the U. S. Postal Service for twenty five years and served in the U. S. Air Force for 23 years. Mr. Stroud is survived by his wife: Mrs. Jackie Eyres Stroud of Montgomery; one son: Edward Stroud and his wife Lisa of Lafayette; one daughter: Sharon Broussard and her husband Kevin of Baton Rouge; two sisters: Dorothy Lummus and Lois Stroud both of Montgomery; two grand- daughters: Kristen and Amber Stroud and one grandson: Brighton Broussard.
