Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories, Winnfield, LA under the direction of Southern Funeral Home, Winnfield, LA. Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. on Thursday and from 8:30 a.m. until services Friday in the funeral home. Mrs. Taylor, age 84 of Shreveport, LA died Tuesday, March 4, 2003 in the Willis Knighton North. She was born in Winn Parish, LA, was the daughter of Joe Wheeler and Frances Eunice Berry Hughen, was actively involved in East Winnfield Baptist Church until she moved to Shreveport after her husband's death, joined Broadmoor Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School. She was a retired bookkeeper. He was born May 22, 1949 in Waycross, GA to Oscar G. and Betty Bauer Traczewitz. He was a forester for Potlatch Corp. and more recently, he was self employed. He was a member, treasurer and Elder of First Presbyterian Church, Prescott, AR. He was actively involved in Boy Scouts of America and mentored many young men to Eagle Scout rank. He actively volunteered at the Day Service Center and was a member of the Nevada County Cancer Assoc. He was dearly loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed. Mr. Collins served as a member of the Winn Parish School Board and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was born in Goldonna, was the son of L. J. and Rose Gunter Bedgood. He was a retired welder and a member of Goldonna Assembly of God and past pastor. He is survived by three sons, Jason M. Bedgood and wife Sharon of Winnfield, Arnold Ray Bedgood and wife Carolyn, and Rodney Lynn Bedgood and wife Verna, all of Goldonna; one daughter, Arlie Nell Prothro and husband Melvin of Blanchard, LA; one sister, Ruby Williams of Saline, LA; 11 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
