Mrs. Jordan died Monday, May 8, 2000 at Timberlake Health & Rehabilitation Center in Jasper. She was a native of Peada, AL, a former resident of Winnfield, LA and had lived in Jasper since 1984. She worked for Winnfield General Hospital in Louisiana as a nurses aide before moving to Jasper. She is survived by her sons William "Bill" Jordan of Lufkin, Wesley Jordan of Winnfield, LA, and Ernest O. Jordan of Jasper; a daughter, Lena Brantley of Winnfield, LA; a sister, Ree Sams of Emmett, AR; a number of grandchildren, a number of great grandchildren and a number of great-great grandchildren. He was a Winn Parish native and a retired auto mechanic. He was the service manager of Jackson Motor Company for 50 years. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and a Veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy. She was a member of the Goldonna Baptist Church and born and raised in Goldonna and was a graduate of Goldonna High School. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Amos Johnson preceded her in death in October 1990. Keen, native and longtime resident of Winn Parish, were held Thursday, May 11, at First Baptist Church of Winnfield with Dr. Calvin Phelps officiating. Eulogies of their brother and uncle respectively were delivered by J. J. Keen and Philip Howard with prayer led by Larry Blundell. Mr. Keen died unexpectedly Tuesday, May 9, in a Shreveport hospital after a brief illness. He was born August 4, 1942 and was a 1960 graduate of Winnfield High School. Mr. Keen attended Northwestern State University before transferring to Louisiana Tech University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry with an emphasis in wood utilization. Most of his professional career was centered around the timber industry. Upon graduation from Louisiana Tech, Mr. Keen was employed by Willamette Industries, first in their Natchitoches plant before transferring back home to their Dodson facility where he served as Superintendent of the Maintenance Department and then as Plant Superintendent. In 1979, he was named Superintendent of Maintenance at Chembond Corporation, now Neste' Resins. In addition, he and his wife Betty owned A Different Drummer from 1987 until its closing in 1998. Mr. Keen was a member of First Baptist Church of Winnfield. he served the community as a Little League baseball coach for many years with his brother-in-law, Jimmy Howard. He also worked for and supported the Louisiana Forest Festival in various capacities for several years. He is survived by his wife, Betty Keen of Winnfield; and their two daughters, Cynthia Keen Losness of Shreveport and Cheryl Keen Schilling of Baton Rouge and their grandson, James Lynwood Losness of Shreveport; his mother, Henrietta Keen of Winnfield; two brothers, Gene Keen of Winnfield and J. J. Keen of Shreveport; three sisters, Ruth Jones of Uncertain, TX, June Griffin of Winnfield and Ann Guy of Shreveport. He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Keen, and his brother, Jerry Keen. Serving as pallbearers were his nephews Philip Howard, Jeff Howard, Jay Keen, Neil Keen, Brian Keen, Greg Keen and Bobby Guy Jr. Honorary Pallbearers were Pat Tinnerello, Larry Blundell, John T.
