Mrs. Antley was a member of the Big Creek Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was the daughter of the late Robert Bartley and the late Marjorie (Smith) Bartley. Pallbearers will be: Ryan, Chris, Allen, Craig, Shawn, and Lavelle. ===== Tommy Brumley (September 22, 1940 - December 16, 2004) Tommy Brumley, age 64, of Verda, La., passed away Thursday, December 16, 2004, at Healthsouth Riverside Hospital in Alexandria, La. Mr. Brumley was retired from the Grant Parish School Board and was a member of Verda Baptist Church. He received his Bachelor of Science from Northwestern State University in 1963 and his Masters plus 30 in 1975. Mr. Brumley served the Grant Parish School System as the Montgomery High School Boy's Basketball Coach for 15 years, the Principal of Georgetown High School from 1991-1994 and the Principal of Montgomery High School from 1994-2001. He was also a talented musician who enjoyed playing music with family and friends.. He was the son of the late Addison and Ana Belle Brumley. He is survived by his wife Janice (Dyson) Brumley of Verda, La.; Three Daughters, Kelly Horton and her husband Ralph of Houston, Texas Kandy Dubois of Verda, La. Mrs. Williams is survived by one son, Mr. E.L. Williams and his wife Jackie, and four daughters, Nelda Hutchins and her husband Charlie, Doris Pendarvis and her husband B.J. , Kathy Kuhn and husband Alden, and Teresa Sauce and husband Ronnie all of the Beulah Community near Georgetown, La. Other survivors include one brother: Richard Early McCartney and his wife Cammilia of North Port, Alabama, 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 1 great, great grandchild, a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Preceding Mrs. Williams in death were her husband of 54 years Lynn Jack Williams, her parents Eli (R.E.) and Grace P. McCartney, one brother Waldo (Boy Dee) McCartney, and one great grandchild Joseph T. Cook. Mrs. Williams was a charter member of the Beulah Baptist Church. As a lifelong servant there, she worked in many capacities including being the first secretary. Her foremost calling of the Lord was as a devoted Christian wife, mother, and keeper of the home.
