She was a member of Sharon Baptist Church of Sikes, La. She was the daughter of the late George Henderson and the late Annie (Eubanks) Henderson. Mrs. Temple was also preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Willie Howard Temple; her brother, Lamar Henderson; and two sisters, Nellie DelRio and Helen Thomas. Interment will be at Union Cemetery in Joyce, La. ===== Terry R. Reeves (July 9, 1946 - July 22, 2005) Terry R. Reeves Mr. Terry Ray Reeves, age 59 of Winnfield, passed away Friday, July 22, 2005. Mr. Reeves, Winn Parish District Attorney since 1991, was a native of Winnfield. He was a graduate of Winnfield High School in 1964 and was admitted to the Louisiana Bar Association in 1982. He received degrees from Southern University School of Law in Baton Rouge, La. and Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. Mr. Reeves was a member of : the American, Louisiana, and Winn Parish Bar Associations, American and Louisiana Trial Lawyers Association, Louisiana and National District Attorney’s Association, Louisiana Parish Attorney’s Association, Louisiana School Board Attorney’s Association, American Judicature Society, Louisiana Commission on Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement, Advisory Board of Louisiana Juvenile Justice and Deliquency Prevention, and the Advisory Board of Drug Free Schools and Communities. Mr. Reeves founded the Winn Parish Drug Task Force and was founder/former chairman of the Winn Parish Council on Aging. Mr. Reeves was also a former president and Member of the Central Louisiana Juvenile Detention Facility Authority. He was former chairman of the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission and was a co-author – 1974 Louisiana Constitution. Mr. Reeves was a 32nd degree mason and member of Eastern Star Lodge #151 F&AM in Winnfield. He was president of the High Twelve Club, the Winn Parish Board of Election Supervisors and was a member of Laurel Heights Baptist Church in Winnfield. Mr. Reeves was also a U.S. Air Force Veteran. Mr. Reeves is survived by: One Son: Jessie Ray Reeves of Winnfield, La.; One Daughter Deanna R. Sutton of Louisville, Kentucky; his mother Lois R. Reeves of Winnfield and a brother Neal Reeves of Luling, La.
