Mrs. Dee Anne (Emmons) Ricks, age 61, of Winnfield, La., passed away Saturday, June 23, 2007, at Jthe
ackson Parish Hospital in Jonesboro, La.
She was the daughter of the late Reuel Emmons and the late Lena (Parker) Emmons.

She is survived by her

Two Sons, Bro. Kirt Ricks, Jr. and wife Elizabeth of Winnfield, La. Kris Ricks of Hazelhurst, Miss.

One Sister, Neva Brown of Cleveland, Texas

Three grandchildren

Graveside services will be held at the Sikes Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Southern
Funeral Home of Winnfield at 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 26, 2007 , with Bro. Kirt Ricks, Jr. and Bro. Kirt
Ricks, III officiating.

Southern Funeral Home of Jonesboro
Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Thompson, age 39 of Jonesboro, died Sunday, June 24, 2007 at Jackson Parish
Hospital following a lengthy illness. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at Southern
Funeral Home of Jonesboro from 5:00 PM until until 9:00 PM and Wednesday, June 27, 2007 from 9:00 AM
until time of service. Funeral services will held Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at 11:00 AM in the Southern
Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Hurricane Grove Cemetery, near Sikes, under the direction of
Southern Funeral Home of Jonesboro.

Mrs. Thompson is survived by her husband, Paul Davis of Jonesboro; daughter, Keli Thompson Davis of
Jonesboro; mother, Linda Temple of Tulsa, Ok; brother, Kenneth Ray Thompson of Fayetteville, N.C.;
father-in-law and mother-in-law, Tommy & Frankie Davis of Hodge; special friends, Billy & Katherine
Thompson of Winnfield; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mrs. Thompson was
preceded in death by her father, Tommie Thompson; son, Douglas Wayne Thompson, Jr. and maternal
grandparents, Leonard & Ardell Temple.
