Mrs. Floyd was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jena, La. She was born January 18, 1919 in French Fork to the union of the late Isaac and Louella Johnson Clark. Mrs. Floyd is survived by her three daughters: Linda Girlinghouse of Baton Rouge, La.; Bonnie Herandez and husband Joe of Alexandria, La.; and Shiela Dickson and husband Don of Bastrop, La. Cockerham Thomas (March 15, 1930 - September 4, 2006) SOUTHERN FUNERAL HOME - WINNFIELD Mrs. Waunice M. Cockerham Thomas, age 76 of Winnfield, passed away Monday September 4, 2006 at her residence. Mrs. Cockerham is the daughter of the late Alfred Cockerham and the late Elva Morse Cockerham of Joyce. She was also preceded in death by her husband Audie Lee Thomas and her brothers J. I. Cockerham of West Monroe and William R. Cockerham of Jena. Mrs. Cockerham is survived by her daughter Teresa Smith and her husband John of Dodson; three grandchildren: Tina Cook and her husband Jacob of Ringgold, Michelle Smith of dodson and Stephen Paul Smith, currently serving the U.S. Airforce in Lakenheath England; three great grandchildren; one sister La Verne Jordan of Winnfield; and numerous nieces and nephews. Chris was born February 24, 1975 in Pecos Texas. He was a long time employee of Parker Drilling Company, and was an avid golfer and boys baseball coach. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, son, grandson, nephew and friend. He was preceded in death by his father Michael "Red" Miller. The family asks that memorials be made to the Brad Alan Daughtry Scholarship Fund through the Sabine Bank. ===== Donald Gregory Duncan (December 18, 1950 - September 13, 2006) Donald Gregory Duncan, age 55 of Calvin, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at the Winn Parish Medical Center in Winnfield. Mr. Duncan is a native of Jackson Michigan and is the son of the late Elbert Donald Duncan and Marie Heselschwerdt Duncan. Mr. Duncan is a charter member of Westminister Presbyterian Church in Jackson, Michigan. He served his country with 21 years in the Air Force. Mr. Duncan was a veteran of Vietnam and the Gulf War. Mr. Duncan enjoyed playing Golf and was an avid fisherman. He was a devoted father and loving grand father. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel with Father Sojan officiating. Graveside services with military honors will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Natchez National Cemetery in Natchez Mississippi.
