Daily Killed March 25 Over Germany Lt. Paul Montgomery Daily, son of Mrs. Pearl Daily of Jonesboro, was killed in action over Germany March 25, according to a telegram from the War Department received by his mother Wednesday of last week. He was a pilot on a P-38. About one month ago, Mrs. Daily was notified by the War Department that her son was missing in action. The telegram received Wednesday stated that he was killed over Germany March 25. Prior to entering service, Lt. Daily was a medical student at L. S. U. On Feb. 1, 1943, he volunteered for service in the Army Air Corps and received his wings on May 23, 1944 at Luke Field, Arizona. Lt. Daily has one sister, Elois Daily of L. S. U., and a large number of relatives in Winn Parish.
