Georgetown Man Is Dead; Had Throat Cut

Willie L. Dalton, Sr., 54, of Georgetown, was found dead Tuesday, February 24
on a roadside near Baywood in East Baton Rouge Parish. A police spokesman said
Dalton's throat had been cut. No further details were immediately available.

Survivors include one son, Willie L. Dalton, Jr., of Georgetown, and his
mother, Mrs. Lula Atwell of Pollock.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 29 in the chapel of Rush's,
Pineville, with the Rev. Joe L. Sharp, officiating. Burial was in Lincecum
Cemetery, Georgetown.
