"Uncle Bob" Dark, 93, Dies; Burial April 20 Winnsboro (Special) Funeral services for Robert Lee "Uncle Bob" Dark, 93, of Rt. 5, Winnsboro, who died early Tuesday, April 19, 1966, at a nursing home in Wisner after a long illness, were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. John Kitchingham officiating. Masonic rites were conducted at First National Cemetery, near Winnsboro. Born at Vienna, la., he had resided in Winn Parish and taught school for a number of years. He was a past vice president of the Franklin Parish School Board, a member of Columbia Lodge, F. & A. M., a past district deputy Grand Master of the Louisiana Grand Lodge, and held a 50 year certificate from the Masonic Order. Married to the former Cora Jones, deceased, Mr. Dark is survived by six daughters, two sons, and a host of friends and relatives in Winn Parish. Mrs. R. A. Clewis, Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Sikes, and Mrs. Roy Sanders of Readhimer attended the funeral.
