George W. Davison Passes Away At His Home In Wheeling

Funeral services for George W. Davison, of Wheeling, who died Tuesday, were
held at Mt. Zion Wednesday.  Services were in charge of the Rev. McVey, pastor
of Mt. Zion Methodist Church, Mrs. Wardlow of Montgomery, the Reverend Boyd,
and the Rev. Alwin Stokes, pastor of the Presbyterian Church of Winnfield.

Mr. Davison was 85 years old.  He is survived by six sons, three daughters,
thirty-eight grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren.  He had lived in
the Wheeling Community for more than a half century.  He was a member of the
Baptist Church.

Among those attending the funeral from Winnfield were Mr. and Mrs. W. W.
Allen, R. E. Cantwell, and A. T. Drewett.
