Mrs. Etta Davison Succumbs; Burial At Walnut Creek

Mrs. Etta L. Davison, 78, died Saturday, March 13, in a Winnfield nursing home
after a brief illness.  She was a native of South Carolina and had been a
resident of Winnfield for many years.

Mrs. Davison is survived by a son, John A. Davison of Simmesport; a daughter,
Mrs. Ether Lomax of Winnfield; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services were held in the chapel of Southern Funeral Home at 2 p.m.
Sunday with Dr. W. L. Holcomb officiating.  Burial was in Walnut Creek
Cemetery. 

Mrs. Davison was a member of the First Baptist Church of Winnfield.
