Mrs. Angie Dixon Davison Passes Away January 11

Mrs. Angie Dixon Davison, 74, wife of Walter Davison of Verda, passed away in
a Shreveport hospital at 5 p.m. Sunday, January 11, 1953, following a long
illness.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 13, in the Union
Baptist Church with interment in the Union Cemetery (Mt. Zion).  Funeral
services were under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home.

She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Bernice Ponder of
Shreveport and Ms. A. M. Ryland of Sarepta.  Three sisters, Mrs. Loss Davison,
Mrs. Frank Pool, and Mrs. Rube Fletcher, and one brother, Gus Dixon, all of
near Atlanta and Wheeling.
