H. W. Davidson Of Verda Buried At Union Hill

Huey Walter Davidson, 85, a retired farmer and carpenter, died at 3:35 a.m.
Monday in a Shreveport hospital after an illness of several months.

Mr. Davidson was a resident of Verda.  He was born in Wheeling and had been a
lifetime resident of the Natchitoches area.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. A. M> Ryland of Sarepta and Mrs. V. B.
Chandler of Shreveport; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Union Hill Baptist
Church with the Rev. Scott Turner, pastor of the New Sarepta Baptist Church,
officiating.  Burial was in Union Hill Cemetery.
