McNeill Davis of Minden Suddenly Dies In Farmerville

News was received here Monday telling of the sudden death of McNeill Davis,
known here as Mr. N. Davis, from an attack of acute indigestion Sunday
afternoon.

Mr. Davis was a resident of Minden, though was in Farmerville the time of his
death.  He was at one time a resident of Winnfield and opened and managed the
first furniture store in this town.

He is survived by his widow, who before her marriage was Miss Lizzie Pye,
sister of Mrs. B. L. Anderson, and of Henry T. Pye, now deceased; and one
daughter, Mrs. Percy Frazier of Shreveport and three sons, J. P., Jarvis, and
John Allen of Minden.

Mr. and Mrs. B. L. Anderson attended the funeral which was held in Minden,
Monday afternoon, Rev. Frank Tripp, pastor of First Baptist Church, Minden,
conducting the services.
