Former Area Pastor Dies In Jena Aug. 31

Rev. Otis Welsby Davidson, 63, of Jena, died at 4 p.m. Wednesday, August 31,
1977 in the LaSalle General Hospital.

He was a longtime resident of both Georgetown and Jena and was at one time
pastor of Jordan Hill Pentecostal Church in Winn Parish.  He was currently
pastor of the Walnut Hill Pentecostal Church of Leesville.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nancy Callie Davidson of Jena; three sons;
two daughters; four brothers; and nine grandchildren.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Shady Grove Pentecostal Church in
Nebo.  Burial was in the Belah Cemetery under direction of Hixson Bros.
