A. E. Davis

Services for A. E. Davis, 89, of Shreveport, were held at 2 p.m. Friday in the
chapel of Edmonds with the Revs. Ray Teal and T. E. Williams officiating. 
Burial was in Atlanta Cemetery.

He died Tuesday, November 4, 1980 in the local hospital.

He was a retired Shreveport policeman.

Survivors include one son, Wayne Davis of Ferriday; one daughter, Jaconette
Williams of Alphreda, Ga.; one brother, Mort Davis of Gibsland; eight
grandchildren, nine grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
