Ralph Dawson

Services for Ralph Dawson will be at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Southern
with the Rev. Wade Cummings officiating.  Masonic graveside services will be
in Corinth Tabernacle Cemetery, near Winnfield.

Dawson, 80, of Winnfield, died at 8 a.m. Tuesday, February 14, 1989 in Tioga.

He was a native of Winn Parish and a Navy veteran of World War II.  Dawson was
a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 3800, Winnfield; a member of
Corinth Baptist Church, and Georgetown Masonic Lodge F. & A. M. No. 298; a
32nd Degree Mason and a Shriner, and a member of the Masonic Lodge for over 50
years.

Survivors include his wife, Pairlee Dawson of Forest Hill; one son, Alvin
Dawson of Winnfield; two daughters, Naomi Willis of Forest Hill and Carrie
Lacombe of Tioga; and five grandchildren.
