Glenn Dawson Dies After Long Illness; Funeral Sept. 5th

Glenn Dawson, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Dawson of the Jordan Hill community,
died in his home Tuesday, September 4, following a long illness.  Funeral
services were held at the Pentecostal Church of Jordan Hill Wednesday at 2
p.m.

Rev. L. G. Mabry officiated at the last rites.  Interment was in the Corinth
Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Dawson, born April 6, 1925, was 26 years old.  He was also a member of the
Pentecostal Church of Jordan Hill and a veteran of World War II.

Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Dawson; one brother, Bethel, of
Winnfield; three sisters, Mrs. A. M. Hook of Lake Charles, Mrs. John C. Harper
of Coushatta, and Miss Needrol Dawson of Winnfield.
