Final Rites Are Held For Mrs. Lou Dean, Sunday

Funeral services were held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. for Mrs. Lou Dean, 82, who died
in a local hospital, June 13, at the Liberty Chapel Church.  Rev. Clark Bell
was the officiating minister with interment at Liberty Chapel.  Hixson
Brothers Funeral Home was in charge.

Mrs. Dean was born in Winn Parish, but has been a resident of Dry Prong
for many years.  She is an aunt to Mr. E. J. Buchanan of this city.  Also,
she is related to the Deans of Winnfield.

Survivors include C. A. Dean of Dry Prong, two daughters, Mrs. Joe P. Smith
and Mrs. Stanley Langley, both of Dry Prong, one sister, Mrs. Fannie Butts, of
Lake Charles, five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
