Mrs. Emma Dean, Native of Winn, Died Sunday

Mrs. Emma Alice Teddlie Dean, 85, native of Winn Parish, died Sunday at her
home 220 Homer Street, Bossier City, La., where she lived in the home of her
daughter, Mrs. R. C. Fletcher.  She was a resident of Winnfield until about
two years ago when she moved to Bossier City with her daughter's family.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Mars Hill Church with the
Rev. Earl Quinn, pastor of the Bossier City Baptist Church, officiating. 
Burial was at Mars Hill under the direction of Rose-Neath Funderal Home.

Mrs. Dean is survived by two daughters, Mrs. R. C. Fletcher, Bossier City, and
Mrs. V. H. Neal, Conroe, Texas; two sons, A. N. Dean, Appleby, Texas, and G.
E. Deen, Shreveport; one sister, Mrs. M. E. O'Neal, Bossier City; 16
grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
