Joseph W. Dean

Services for Joseph W. Dean were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Yankee Springs
Baptist Church with the Rev. W. L. Fussell officiating.  Burial was in the
church cemetery under direction of Southern, Winnfield.

Dean, 65, of Goldonna, died at about 10:35 a.m. Monday in an automobile
accident on Louisiana 501.

Dean was a World War II veteran, serving in both the Marines and Army.

Survivors include one brother, Jack Dean of Goldonna; and six sisters, Arnetta
Huddleston of Natchitoches, Cornelia Ross, Zahlia Ross, and Jessie Pratt, all
of Goldonna, and Perlie McLaren and Elvie Johnson, both of Winnfield.
