Leon K. Dean

Services for Leon K. Dean were held at 2 p.m. Friday in Goldonna Assembly of
God Church with the Revs. Troy Patrick and W. L. Fussell officiating.  Burial
was in Pine Ridge Cemetery under direction of Southern, Winnfield.

Dean, 76, of Goldonna, died at 7:40 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 1974,[should be
1984]in his residence.

Dean was a veteran of World War II and a member of Goldonna Assembly of God
Church.

Survivors include his wife, Nola Dean of Goldonna; one son, George Kemp Dean
of Goldonna; two daughters, Bonnie Mercer of Winnfield and Kay Dean of Lawton,
Okla.; three sisters, Janie Bemont, Vivian Gibbs, and Mae Robinson, all of
Winnfield; and three grandchildren.
