Mrs. Mertie Dean of Sikes Died at Alexandria, Mon.

Mrs. Mertie Leona Dean, 32, of Sike, died at Alexandria, Monday, December 2.

Mrs. Dean was born and reared at Sikes, and married T. A. Dean there December
1, 1912.

Surviving Mrs. Dean are Mrs. Alice McCarty mother of the deceased, and R. W.
McCarty, a brother.

Mrs. Dean belonged to the Hurricane Grove Baptist Church.
