Funeral services for Mrs. Ida DeBray, 84, who died at Milledgeville, Ga., May 20, were held at the Winnfield Hixson Funeral Home at 4 p.m. May 21, with the Rev. Luther L. Booth, pastor of the First Methodist Church officiating. Assisting with the services was the Rev. Stone Carraway of Bunkie, formerly of here. Burial was in the family plot in the Winnfield Cemetery. Acting as pallbearers were Dudley Shell, Dennis Shell, John Glynn Jackson, Rev. Stone Carraway, M. T. Crowe, and M. M. Crowe. Mrs. DeBray resided with her family in Winnfield about 40 years ago. Her husband was the town's photographer for many years and the family was well known in this area. She was the mother of the late H. L. DeBray of Winnfield. Surviving are two sons, Fred and Jules DeBray of Atlanta, Ga., a daughter in law, Mrs. H. L. DeBray of Winnfield, a brother and sister.
