Mrs. R. C. Dees, 65, Dies; Funeral Rites Held Sun.

Mrs. Anna Elizabeth Dees of Winnfield, age 65, died Saturday, June 29, 1968 at
1:15 p.m. in an Alexandria hospital after a lengthy illness.

She was a native of Vivian, La.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of Hixson
Brothers Funeral Home with Rev. W. A. Wimbs, Rev. Merlin Carson, and Rev. Ray
Teal officiating.  Interment was in Atlanta Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, R. C. Dees; four daughters, Mrs. Doris Tarver
of Winnfield, Mrs. Catherine Dick of Atlanta, Mrs. Opal Ferguson of Bentley,
and Mrs. Ann Hicks of Monroe; one brother, Wiley Goodson of Vivian, 12
grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Dub Richards, Blackie Jourdan, Clyde Jones, David Ferguson,
Clyde Richards, Lamar Tarver, Bobby Tarver, and Clyde Hicks.
