All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: February 18, 1960 Winn Parish Enterprise News-American Mrs. Annie Martin Deen, 91, Buried At Sanders Feb. 16 Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Martin Deen, 91, who died at her home in Goldonna Monday, February 15, 1960, were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Sanders Methodist Chapel near Calvin with Rev. R. H. Staples of Winnfield officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home. Mrs. Deen was a native of Hazelhurst, Miss., but had spent most of her life in Ward Ten, Winn Parish. Survivors are three sons, Jack of Baton Rouge, Charlie of Goldonna, and Ozie of Calvin; four daughters, Mrs. Ebb Machen of Winnfield, Mrs. L. B. Straughan, Sr. of Pineville, Mrs. G. W. Cunningham of Goldonna, and Mrs. V. O. Barnes of Lone Star, Texas; one brother, Marion Martin of Goldonna; one sister, Mrs. Emma Morgan of Pioneer; 31 grandchildren, 72 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
