Ezra W. Deen Dies; Rites At Mars Hill

Ezra William Deen, 69, of Atlanta, died at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, November 23,
1974 at his residence after a short illness.  He was a logging contractor.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bertie S. Deen of Atlanta; two sons, Eulas
Deen of Alexandria and Marlin Deen of Atlanta; a brother, Lonnie Deen of
Montgomery; his stepmother, Mrs. Annie Deen of Montgomery, and four
grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Mars Hill Baptist Church
with Rev. Kenneth Tarver and Rev. Tom Smith officiating.  Burial was in the
church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home, Winnfield.
