Fravelia Dement

Fravelia Dement, 80 of Montgomery, died at 12:20 p.m. Friday, December 17,
1982 in her home.

She was a native of Cloutierville and a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Charlie L. Dement, Sr., of Montgomery; a son,
Charlie L. Dement, Jr., of Montgomery; a sister, Ella Washer of Montgomery;
two half sisters, Mattie Gallien and Mrs. Roy Gongre, both of Natchitoches; a
brother, Whilfred Hernandez of Montgomery; four half-brothers, Joseph LaCour,
N. L. LaCour and Henry LaCour, Sr., both of Natchitoches, and Emanuel LaCour
of Montgomery; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Services were held at 11:00 a.m. Sunday in New Salem Baptist Church with the
Rev. W. B. Paige officiating.

Burial was in Mount Zion Cemetery under direction of Blanchard-St. Denis,
Natchitoches.

Pallbearers were Gary Pinder, Monty Pinder, Harvey Pinder, Tray Dement, George
Dement, and Tommy Carter.
