OBITUARIES

Mrs. Dement

The funeral of Mrs. Lillie Dement, 81, of Montgomery was held at 1 p.m. Sunday
in Mount Zion Baptist Church near Montgomery with the Rev. G. W. Horne
officiating.

Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Edmonds Funeral Home of
Jonesboro.

Mrs. Dement died Friday, January 19, 1979 in Natchitoches Parish Hospital
after a lengthy illness.

She was a housewife and native of Montgomery.

Survivors include two sons, Joe Dement of Montgomery and George Dement of
Houma;  two daughters, Mrs. Lillie Hernandez and Mrs. Opan Pinder, both of
Montgomery; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  

Pallbearers were Harvey Pinder, Gary Pinder, Ricky Pinder, Lonnie Pinder,
Wayne Lohman, and Eugene Spikes.
