Mrs. Betty Dennis, Mother of R. R. Dennis, Succumbs

Mrs. Betty M. Dennis, 73 years of age, died Monday morning at 5 o'clock in a
Lafayette hospital after a serious illness of about two weeks.  She was the
mother of R. R. Dennis of Winnfield.

Funeral services were held in Baton Rouge, home of the deceased, Tuesday at
Rabenhorst Funeral Home.  Burial was in a Baton Rouge cemetery.

Mrs. Dennis is survived by four sons, R. R. Dennis of Winnfield, H. A. Dennis
of Lafayette, E. L. Dennis of Baton Rouge, and Macy Dennis of New York, N. Y.;
and two daughters, Mrs. Alex Knight of Shreveport and Miss Dorothy Dennis of
Baton Rouge.
